Challenge

Rapidly-growing PitchBook was on a tight timeline to accommodate the accelerating number of employees. With the company opening offices in new national and global locations, the Seattle Headquarters space needed to match the needs of the company without overspending or hindering potential growth in other upcoming locations. The ideal space needed to cater to PitchBook employee’s fun and collaborative work environment while still being economically conservative.

Solution

The Kinzer team worked quickly to negotiate economic space in a building that can accommodate future growth with multiple expansion options. The negotiations will help PitchBook save on occupancy costs over time and secured a healthy free rent period for both the initial space and the expansion space at a below market rental rate. The Kinzer team chose a building in the ideal downtown location near Pioneer Square, close to transit, retail shops, restaurants, and freeway access. Kinzer negotiated a substantial tenant improvement package and hired JPC Architects to design a hip, fun, and comforting space that caters to how PitchBook employees like to work. The workplace design fosters collaboration, creativity, and new ideas with panoramic views of downtown Seattle and Elliott Bay.
