Hospitality is in Jena Thornton’s blood. Naturally outgoing, she loves being with people and seeing that they enjoy themselves.
Jena brings more than 27 years of hospitality experience to Kinzer. She got her start when she worked for the developer of Hawaii’s Grand Wailea and Ko Olina hotels.
Since then, she has earned a reputation for successfully managing a large variety of complicated hospitality-related real estate projects. Altogether, she’s been involved in more than $3 billion of hotel transactions in the roles of developer, operator, and owner, including her own Lodges on Vashon.
Jena grew up in Chicago and New Jersey, and attended American University in Washington, D.C. Since 1996, she has called Seattle home.
Outside of the office, Jena never stops moving. In addition to raising two kids with her husband, Scott, she skis, swims, hikes, dances and attends live music festivals around the world.
