He may be nourished by food and drink, but he lives on information.
Mark Stayton is naturally curious. He loves to explore, discover, study, investigate. He says, “My professional journey has taught me the value of deep research, clear communications, and hard questions.”
Mark went to Western Washington University; he also studied abroad at Newcastle, Australia. After graduation, Mark became a journalist reporting on business and agriculture for the Skagit Valley Herald, a small daily newspaper in northwestern Washington.
He started working in commercial real estate as a researcher at the Economic Development Council of Seattle & King County. There he provided clients with economic and demographic information while helping them find desirable local properties.
About his work today, he says, “The right location and space are vital to a company’s success. Working at Kinzer Partners allows me to pursue my passions of research, communications and client assistance while helping companies hire and retain workers.”
One of the reasons Mark and his wife Erin love Seattle is that they’re major sports fans. As often as they can, they attend Seahawks, Sounders, and Mariners games. In addition, Mark enjoys scuba diving in Puget Sound and biking on mountain trails throughout the Northwest.
